# Deposit / Supply

> Deposit a supported testnet asset in DeFi Planet.

The current documentation uses **Deposit**, the existing RocX page name. In DeFi terms, this supplies an asset to the displayed protocol flow.

## Before you start

* Connect your wallet and select the network shown by RocX.
* Hold a supported testnet asset and enough gas.
* Review whether the asset is eligible for collateral, Deposit AE, or PoA eligibility; these are separate checks.

## Deposit an asset

  <Step title="Open Deposit">In DeFi Planet, open **Deposit** and select an available asset.</Step>
  <Step title="Enter the amount">Do not exceed the wallet balance shown by the interface.</Step>
  <Step title="Approve when required">For an ERC-20 asset, confirm the token approval before the Deposit transaction. Check the approved token and spending scope.</Step>
  <Step title="Confirm Deposit">Review the asset, amount, network, and transaction details, then confirm in your wallet.</Step>
  <Step title="Wait for confirmation">Keep the page open while the transaction is pending. Do not submit the same transaction repeatedly.</Step>

## What happens next

After confirmation, the Portfolio or supplied balance should update. Deposit AE and PoA eligibility do not necessarily update at the same moment as the onchain balance.

  PoA registration and evaluation require at least USD 50 in eligible RocX DeFi deposits maintained continuously for 24 hours. Deposit AE uses a separate daily snapshot at 08:59:59 KST. See [PoA Eligibility](../poa/eligibility) and [Deposit AE](../active-energy/deposit-ae).

## Common issues

A deposit can fail because of the wrong network, insufficient gas, an expired wallet request, insufficient balance, or a failed token approval. Check the transaction hash before retrying.
