# Cross-Platform Proof of Activity

> How externally created Web3 content becomes verified contribution in RocX.

Web3 activity happens everywhere. RocX turns meaningful contribution across external platforms into activity that can be verified, evaluated, and connected to measurable value.

## Contribution begins outside RocX

Users create research, education, analysis, tutorials, videos, development work, ecosystem updates, and other Web3 contribution on external platforms.

Initial support may include X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Medium, Telegram, Mirror, GitHub, and other sources approved through operating policy.

Supported platforms may expand over time depending on verification capability, metadata accessibility, platform policy, and operational requirements.

## The original content stays at its source

Users register only the original URL. They do not author or upload a title, body, description, image, video, file, custom thumbnail, hashtag, or comment inside RocX.

Where available and safe, RocX may retrieve the platform, original author or channel, title, excerpt, publication time, thumbnail, video duration, content type, and original URL. These are external-source metadata, not RocX-authored content.

If metadata cannot be retrieved safely, RocX may show the platform, author, registration time, original URL, and a View Original Activity action. RocX does not own or directly host the external content.

## Contributor ownership is verified

The user's RocX account and wallet must be connected to the external account that originally created the content. Content from an unconnected account is not recognized as the user's own contribution, and another person's content cannot be claimed as personal contribution.

## Contribution becomes visible through verification

    RocX reviews the connected author, source, uniqueness, Web3 relevance, validity, and abuse signals.

  <Step title="Receive eligible evaluation">
    Eligible users can use Helpful or Not Helpful within their daily limits.

  <Step title="Build a contributor record">
    Verified activity can enter the Contributor Ranking and long-term Reputation context.

## RocX is not another social network

RocX does not replace the platforms where Web3 content is created. It provides the verification, evaluation, and value layer that connects those activities.

RocX does not add internal content publishing, comments, replies, direct messages, or follower relationships to this contribution model.
