# Explore Planet

> RocX's Engagement Layer for AE-based missions and continued participation.

Explore Planet is RocX's **Engagement Layer**. It uses Active Energy in approved participation experiences and helps participation continue across the ecosystem.

## A distinct role

PoA and Explore are different systems.

Explore does not replace PoA's contribution-verification role. An Explore result does not automatically create Reputation or a PoA score.

## Mission-specific mechanics

Each Explore mission defines its eligibility, entry, result, cancellation, refund, draw, failed-settlement, expiry, and abuse rules in the applicable product specification or guide. This whitepaper does not create a separately pre-funded pool for Prediction or Card Flip.

## Successful settlement

Each Explore mission keeps its approved payout math. When a mission's normally settled winning result includes the shared 10% allocation, 5% is recorded in the Active Energy Reserve Pool and 5% in the PoA Rewards Pool.

The PoA Rewards Pool is used only for Contributor Ranking distributions. It does not fund the Explore win itself.
