# Why Proof of Activity Matters

Web3 has built powerful systems for proving ownership, transactions, and assets.

Yet there is still no common way to recognize what users research, explain, build, teach, and contribute across multiple platforms.

<Info>
  **Ownership shows what users hold.**

  **Proof of Activity shows what they have done.**
</Info>

RocX starts from this gap between capital activity and verified user contribution.

***

## Activity happens everywhere

Users create Web3 research, education, analysis, development, tutorials, product feedback, and community content across supported spaces, including external platforms such as X, Medium, YouTube, and GitHub.

At the same time, wallets and DeFi protocols create records of deposits and usage.

The problem is not a lack of activity. Activity remains scattered across platforms and accounts, making contributor ownership, validity, quality, and long-term contribution history difficult to assess together.

***

## A click alone is not contribution

Following a project account or pressing a button once cannot explain meaningful contribution. Registering a link alone does not prove originality, contributor ownership, Web3 relevance, or content quality.

PoA Planet is not a social-mission or follow-reward system. It verifies the contributor and validity of original activity, then uses eligible evaluation and abuse review to form contribution signals.

  Not every activity, link, or evaluation is approved or connected to AE and Reputation.

## Why cross-platform Proof of Activity matters

The platform where content is created and the layer that measures its contribution can be different.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Content remains on the original platform">
    RocX does not claim ownership of external content or re-host it as a new social feed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Verify the original URL and contributor">
    RocX may verify that the author or channel behind the original link matches the connected external account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Eligible community evaluation">
    Helpful and Not Helpful signal informational, educational, or practical value.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Record verified contribution">
    Eligible results may inform Contribution Score, Reputation, Activity Identity, and AE distribution eligibility under operating policy.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Capital supports accountable participation

Eligible DeFi deposit requirements can raise the cost of mass accounts and irresponsible evaluation for activity registration and community evaluation.

A larger deposit does not provide more evaluation actions or greater evaluation weight.

  One eligible wallet can evaluate an activity only once.

## What Proof of Activity changes

Proof of Activity is not a system that attaches a reward to every action. It verifies and evaluates meaningful Web3 contribution across multiple platforms, bringing capital, contribution, and reputation into one measurable value system.

Users can build long-term contribution history instead of isolated reactions, while builders and partners can discover more credible activity signals.

<Info>
  **Every Web3 Activity Creates Value.**

  RocX creates a structure where meaningful, verified activity can lead to lasting contribution and new opportunity.
