RocX connects external contribution and onchain capital activity through a staged value process. The path varies by activity type; not every step applies in the same way.

The value path

1

External or Onchain Activity

A user creates supported Web3 contribution on an external platform or performs supported onchain activity.
2

Registration

External content is registered through its original URL. Onchain activity may be observed from supported wallet and protocol records without a content submission.
3

Source and Contributor Verification

Where applicable, RocX reviews the source, platform, accessibility, contributor relationship, and available account connection.
4

Community Evaluation Where Applicable

Eligible Evaluators may provide Helpful or Not Helpful signals for contribution types that use community evaluation. Some activity types may use other verification paths.
5

Contribution and Abuse Review

Originality, relevance, validity, policy compliance, duplicate behavior, related accounts, reciprocal evaluation, automation, and other manipulation signals may be reviewed.
6

Eligibility

The activity is checked against the quality, campaign, period, product, and operating rules that apply to that activity type.
7

Contributor Ranking for PoA Content

Eligible verified content scores are aggregated by contributor, reviewed for abuse, and finalized for the current round.
8

Active Energy and/or Reputation

The finalized PoA ranking may distribute AE from the PoA Rewards Pool to the top 100 eligible contributors. Reputation may develop separately over time.
9

Activity Identity

Valid capital activity, contribution, evaluation, consistency, Reputation, and AE history can accumulate as long-term context.
10

Ecosystem Opportunities

Qualified records may support Contributor Recognition, partner opportunities, Explore participation, ecosystem access, and better DeFi experiences.

Outcomes remain separate

  • Community Evaluation is used where the activity type and operating policy require it.
  • Verification does not guarantee Active Energy.
  • Active Energy and Reputation do not have to be created at the same time.
  • Activity Identity is a long-term accumulated signal, not the result of one action.
  • A previous-round score does not automatically carry into the next round.
  • Better DeFi can be one outcome, while verified contribution can also create recognition, identity, ecosystem access, partner opportunity, and continued participation.
