Active Energy, or AE, is a non-transferable offchain participation unit recorded in the RocX ledger. It has no fixed cash value, cannot be immediately converted to a token, and has no fixed conversion rate to ROCX.
AE sources
AE may arise through approved rules for:
- Daily Check-in;
- Deposit AE;
- Deposit Boost;
- PoA Ranking Rewards;
- Explore Results; and
- other approved activity.
Registering or verifying a PoA link does not create immediate AE. PoA AE is distributed after the Contributor Ranking, abuse review, and final ranking.
AE uses
AE can be used for Explore mission participation and other approved ecosystem uses. Each use follows its applicable eligibility, settlement, expiry, and abuse rules.
Two reserve accounts
The Active Energy Reserve Pool may appear as Total AE Pool, Total Reserve Pool, or AE Reserve Pool in user-facing interfaces. The PoA Rewards Pool is a separate offchain ledger account. Neither reserve is a token treasury, cash fund, or onchain asset pool.
Explore settlement
Each Explore mission retains its own payout math. When that mission’s approved normally settled winning result includes a shared 10% allocation, it is divided into 5% for the Active Energy Reserve Pool and 5% for the PoA Rewards Pool. Cancellation, refund, draw, loss, and failed-settlement treatment follows the applicable mission specification.
Prediction and Card Flip are not described as using separately pre-funded pools. The PoA Rewards Pool does not fund game wins; it funds the PoA Contributor Ranking.
PoA distribution
The PoA Rewards Pool balance accumulated during a current ranking round is distributed to the top 100 eligible contributors under the initial 30% / 30% / 24% / 16% bands described in the current contributor-ranking policy.
The balance and per-contributor AE vary by round. The bands may be adjusted through operating policy and do not guarantee a fixed return.
AE is not fiat currency or a token. AE does not guarantee token allocation, payment, yield, financial return, or future value, and no fixed AE-to-ROCX conversion rate exists.
